...with our fins up and our feathers flashing. People getting together to share their enjoyment of Jimmy Buffett, his music and laid back tropical lifestyle. People taking time to give a little back to their community. To “party with a purpose”.

It all began in the village of Ayr, Ontario in 2006. Club founder Charlene Walkington had a dream to start a local Parrot Head Club. A club which could draw members from and give back to the Tri-Cities area of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and surrounding areas.

On October 1, 2007 we held our first meeting. On October 5 we got word that we been sanctioned by Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc.

Our initial charities are The Cambridge Humane Society, The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada in Guelph and the Save The Manatee Club. In one way or another they are all tied to Jimmy and his interests.

Why not come out for an evening of fun, friendship and a chance to wear that Aloha shirt with people who understand that it IS a “Buffett thing.”

Our next meeting is Monday August 11, 2008. Join us at The Edelweiss for Eat N’ Greet at 6:00 with our meeting to follow at 7:00. We will be drawing our PARROTPHEST early bird winner for a ride in the KW Record Hot Air Balloon!!!
