The PHiP Board is pleased to announce the

2010 Parrot Head Scholarship Program:

Application Deadline: March 15

The Parrot Head Scholarship Program was established in 2008 as a benefit to the members of PHiP sanctioned clubs. Current members of an officially sanctioned Parrot Head Club and their children, grandchildren, or wards can apply for the scholarships.

In 2010 the scholarship will make three awards: $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000. These funds are to help with post secondary education expenses at an accredited four-year university or college of the student’s choice.

Highest consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate previous examples of participation and leadership for Charity, Environmental, Civic, and/or Parrot Head Club volunteer work. High consideration given to applicants who will be pursuing a course of study that leads to a degree, certification, or credentials. All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, which will select the winners. The decision of the committee will be final.
