The Cambridge and District Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and providing shelter and comfort to the needy animals of the Cambridge and District community in Ontario, Canada. The Society is totally supported by the generosity of the community it serves. The Society depends on volunteers to assist in fulfilling its mandate.

The Cambridge Humane Society has helped in the aftermath of Katrina by accepting dogs from areas of New Orleans which are still recovering.  In addition to fundraising, Parrots on the Grand also tries to help out by collecting donations of food and supplies at our monthly meetings.  Click on the logo at left to learn more about this organization.
